Known as the country of tango, soccer, asado and mate, Argentine men and women are characterized by being kind and affectionate, it doesn't matter if you are a friend or a stranger, everyone will greet you in the same way, with palms, kisses and hugs. Mate is the traditional and favorite infusion of all Argentines, its taste is bitter but you can add any type of sweetener to taste, be it sugar, sweetener or honey.
At a dinner or snack it is never necessary to talk about politics, whether it is about Peronism, Evita or current politics. Sometimes you can see fights between friends or family over the crack issue. Argentina is the land of great footballers of the past and present, Di Stéfano, Maradona and Messi some of the best footballers in the world. For all Argentines, soccer is a passion.
The Fernet is mixed with some cola, which has become one of its most famous drinks, specifically from Cordoba, Argentina also stands out for having the best wines in the world. For them, a barbecue is never lacking on a Sunday, and it is also an excuse to get together with their family. The picados, milanesa and empanadas are some of his favorite dishes where they also stand out for their preparation in Argentina.
The ring run is a game in which the gaucho or better said "rider" has to put a toothpick that he carries in his hand inside a ring. With his horse, he starts the race for a few meters until he stands on the stirrups while, with his arm raised, he tries to place the toothpick in the ring. It belongs to the gaucho tradition and is currently still practiced in Argentina, mostly at the Mataderos fair and at folklore festivals.
